"Jacob's Ladder is a one stop solution for Special needs kids. As parents of a child with autism we have tried and tested different therapies at different places. But when we found JL we felt "this is it". The search for therapies and services ended at the door of Jacob's ladder.
They provided an intensive, individualized program for our son. Their approach is thorough and result based and compassionate. They address all the areas of development in your child's life so he/she doesn't miss out on anything. Our son has been making significant progress in all areas including cognitive, language and behavior. Although we still have a long way to we have a new found hope in our child and his school which we never had before. This school gives the opportunity for our special needs kids to thrive in this world by teaching them all the skills required.
Jacob's ladder has made a tremendous impact in helping our son reach his potential. In our opinion, their staff is the best in this field. We cannot thank everyone at Jacob's ladder enough for helping our family during this important time in our lives.
We wish they extend their reach by opening new branches all over the world to enable lots of families like us improve their quality of lives.
God Bless Jacob's Ladder! Thanks to all the dedicated teachers and management staff at Jacob's Ladder."

"Jared has gone from - an awkward, frightened, angry, distrustful, self-absorbed, frustrated, desperate to fit in teenager who sought retaliation for any action by anyone who got in his way... to....a young man who strives to understand the feelings of others...thinks before he reacts...able to have a conversation with rather than talking at people, is able to reason with himself about his feelings & convey them to himself...believes in himself...is happy instead of worried something bad is going to happen, and most of all, has real friends, teachers and authority figures who respect and care for him.
The CBT program at Jacob's Ladder has made a huge difference in Jared's life. I can't imagine what our life would be like without the progress Jared has made this year. Now I know that he will become all that he was meant to be, accomplish greatness and make countless contributions to our society."

"My son Aaron has been going to Jacob's Ladder for 4 years. We had been to 2 other schools without success when someone suggested checking out Jacob's Ladder. It was as if we found our home! Amy and the entire Jacob's Ladder family are completely dedicated to the success of my son. I have never met a group of educators who are more devoted to their students in helping them to achieve their highest goals. I can't think of any other school setting that I would want my child to be in. We hope to be there for years to come!"

"HOPE really does live here. I can feel it when I enter the building, hear it when talking to the teachers and staff, and see it in the changes and advancements my daughter has made as a student. The difference we've seen in her has changed our lives. My favorite story to share is about her seatbelt. After getting in the car we would ask, "where is your seatbelt?" No response, she's too excited and distracted. We would then show her, hand over hand, "here is your seatbelt." After only one week at Jacob's Ladder, we asked her, "where is your seatbelt?" This time...she reached for it on her own! Another week went by, she got in the car and spontaneously reached for her seatbelt all by herself. I knew this was only the beginning and my HOPE in her possibilities was validated and reinforced. Her self awareness, attention to activities, ability to follow simple directions, and independence have all increased. The Jacob's Ladder program combined with the encouragement her teachers give, has challenged and empowered her to reach higher and has shown us to expect even more. The more that I've always dreamed of, but was hesitant to HOPE for out loud."

"I sat in Amy's seminar listening to her talk about the brains ability to change and the hope of untapped potential. I knew in my heart I had found the school for Lara, our four year old who was diagnosed with CP at 11 months old. I asked myself, "how can we get her to this school?". We live in Grayson, GA and coordinating the carpools to get our other 2 children to school while driving Lara to Roswell was daunting. However, it worked out and Lara is in her second year at Jacob's Ladder and is making exciting progress. Her day begins by what she perceives to be the "Lara welcoming committee," a group of smiling teachers greeting her personally with enthusiasm. She is taught using a program individually designed for her and nurtured everyday by teachers with more patience, positive attitude and perseverance than I thought possible. I was once told by a special dedicated teacher at Jacob's Ladder that HOPE can come at any age. From what I've seen, I believe him!!!! Hearing my daughter with severe apraxia of speech say "mama" was enough to convince me!"

"Our son, Deepan, was diagnosed with autism when he was 2 years old. Like other parents, we started our hunt for a cure. We came across many happy and promising experiences and some sad and disappointing moments. Jacob's Ladder is the first school where they spoke about a neurodevelopmental approach and the plasticity of the brain. We found many schools serve high-functioning kids on the spectrum but not those with a moderate autism diagnosis. We realized no matter what the diagnosis Jacob's Ladder believes in the potential of each child. This is the place where they serve not only our kids but also greatly support the families to handle the challenges they face. There are no words to express the support they gave us when our son had some behavioral issues in the past.
No other place would have been better for him than where he is now. Jacob's Ladder's individualized one-on-one program and support gives us and our child HOPE!"

"You are all truly Miracle Makers!!! What do you say to the person, who has become like family, and has become to love your child as much as you do? You helped Beau find ‘his voice' and I will forever be grateful!."

"...Her progress is a direct result of your hard work...Thank you for seeing Erin not only for the unique person that she is, but for the person she can be with work and perseverance."

"Jacob was born with a cleft palate. This is normally corrected with a simple surgery or two but his body just doesn't heal well and so after seven failed surgeries, his palate is still open. Without an intact palate, he is incapable of making most of the normal sounds required for human speech. He also has apraxia, a learning disability that further impacts speech development... Now the light shining from his eyes when he is successful is brilliant, as is his smile. We are so grateful as we believe Jake has been given an opportunity to grow through Jacob's Ladder that he could not have received anywhere else."

"We searched for programs around the country and finally came across Jacob's Ladder. Within 15 minutes of meeting Amy O'Dell I felt we'd found the right program for our son. The program had everything I'd known we needed to do for our son but couldn't find elsewhere. We came here on a "trial basis" and after just 8 weeks we've seen enough progress to move here from California permanently.
The staff are incredible and the program is designed to meet each child individually and help to maximize their innate potential... It's a true blessing to have found Jacob's Ladder—and my heartfelt gratitude goes out to the entire staff and Amy for doing this essential and impactful work in our world!"

"Through Davis we have learned to open our eyes to the miracles in our lives...Our lives were forever changed when we had a son with special needs and the staff at Jacob's Ladder have helped bring him back to us and have enriched our lives so much!"

"It is a hopeless feeling when you are told that your child will not read, write, or even speak clearly and that there is no hope of any academic skills, and then your child walks in with a book in his hands and looks at you and says, ‘Mom, I can read!' That is a feeling that words cannot begin to express...my child CAN! This is the gift that Jacob's Ladder has given to me."

"From time-to-time I think about the experience of getting to know you and your staff at Jacob’s Ladder. The impression is deep and lasting… and for good reason. In my over forty years of hanging out at schools around the nation, I have not found a school as deeply committed at every limb and fiber of every person who works there to the cause of helping children learn."
"Autism continues to mystify and scare too many of us. At Jacob’s Ladder, on the other hand, you “attack” it with love and compassion… and a plan. I love the way you re-visit the plan routinely and make adjustments as needed. I also appreciate the way you use every conceivable method available to individually address a child’s needs, from Hyperbaric Chambers to Neurofeedback! Overarching all of that, however, is the incredible smiling faces of kids who are the recipients of loving care and teaching with no rhetoric included in that language. Continuing in awe,"
